It bothers the crap out of me that Goljan pronounces "caspase" as "caspasase" (refer to Lecture 2, Cell Injury). And he uses it in the plural sense, as in, CASPASASES. That's 4 syllables!
AAAUUUUGHH! Yes I know I'm anal. Sorry. I still love Goljan though.

i googled caspasase just to make sure he was wrong & yr entry came up. he says it so much too! its so funny. im sure someone has told him by now. he must feel like a fool.
I was just listening to Cell Injury 2, & I googled "caspasase" too, because I wanted to make sure he wasn't talking about an enzyme that destroys a caspase! Your blog was the first thing that came up (other than google saying "did you mean caspase?"). It drives me crazy when he says that, too! He sounds like Sylvester from Looney Toons.
